For those of us who have decided to go postgraduate school, and (try out hard) to get a PhD, usually get a publication (well, many indeed) it's a must. Being now in this quest, I have a deadline for tomorrow night, I wonder why always my paper must be "in revision state" until a few minutes before the deadline!!.
Is that like a fixed law, that we researches do share?, or is it just me (and perhaps some others who try to figure out something new to include in our papers until the last minute). Maybe we have the slightly hope that some "divine thought" reaches our mind and gives us that brillant phrase that will guarantee us a "..We are happy to announce you that your paper has been accepted..." answer a few weeks later.
I have contacted a research fellow who is also working for this conference, and he is still collecting data and running some experiments to include in his paper. Well, it is good to known that I am not the only one working on it.
That's why today I've decided to stop working (at 18 pm), and get some rest and just hang out with my wife, maybe watch a movie or something different. Tomorrow I will give it again a revision and do the final changes.
I hope in a few weeks I could write about how hard the path was, but my article was finally accepted. I guess we'll have to wait to see that.
I always say that my next paper will be ready a few days earlier than the deadline. But up until now, I can't make it happen!!!.
Good things apparently doesn't happen out of nothing, we must work hard and try to make those things happen. I'll stick to that thought, and I'll try to do something better everyday for my work, my life and for other people, too.
